I like to work with acrylic technique, you can make an error, so to speak, and then paint over it again...but that is not a point...I try to work on image, after a photo, but can't make it. Here is the first version, redrawn, and it look to me that there is no way out to finish it. I started over and over on the same paper, but still I am far away from the original, speaking literally.



Le soleil est tombé en morceaux

here is something done in 2003, refers to my favourite serial Krakov, Krakov...Here I put a main character to be little bit older, about 30, and beside him are drawings/croquis taken from Bilal's "Rank of Black order", which I have read at that moment...

Many different people with one vision, every one of them was kind and friendly, we had some good times there in Herceg Novi during those five days, from the very beginning, when band named Disciplin A Kitschme actually opened the festival late night at Kanli tower, and another band Darkwood Dub had their concert at Herceg Novi theater club.



p.s. drawings was made while me an Dushan was sitting on café, together with the most popular and very good artist (ex-YU and Canada) Igor Kordey (the one with the hat) and Kruna...(not on this picture)...

quick "pick"...very fast sketch of girl in my neighborhood, at her terrase, seen from my window at five minutes to six p.m., 40 degrees Celsius...and her dog(Bole) can't see him very well...beside, on her left side.

A quick drawing done, well I don't quite remember,two months ago, my French classes again, my colleague, a woman that will be probably an inspiration, or model for madame Lotte,young German, main negative character in Max Debris episode...

a new version of page 1,2...in separate strips...Also, I have reached to nine page, 9a exactly, in pencils. Here is random present of some of them.

inspiracija pred kraj radnog vremena, prošli petak, i nešto od dekora što se vidi, deo kancelarije u koji gledam. Takođe, prozor sa desne strane gleda na zidove pravnog i ekonomskog fakulteta u komšiluku...ugođaj sing singa, ševeningena, ponekad me podseća i na Bekstvo iz Šošenka*...

*The Shawshank Redemption (1994), koristim neke kadrove, tj. dekore i kostime za potrebe Debrisa...ali film me uvek oduševi, makar gledao neke sekvence, ili ceo film.

Finally, some drawings from march, and done at my office...soon I will post some new pages of Max Debris. Also I try to write something in French here, possibly images for alter comics called Strips rouge...

premier "crayons", actually pencils for Max Debris. Since I've started to work on this comic after long delay and hesitation, this pages has been modified during last weeks, and now look little different.
